Couples Therapy:

Having a healthy and happy relationship requires commitment and should embrace both individualization and collaboration. It is normal for couples to experience challenges that may threaten the relationship. My clinical experience finds that communication is a major factor on how well a relationship functions during these challenges. Sometimes life goals change or other issues hinder intimacy and emotional connection. Couples therapy, especially if both partners are willing to be honest and proactive, can benefit any relationship. Even in the case of pending divorce, transitioning can be successful. If intimacy and sex are of concern, therapeutic approaches can assist your relationship in reaching the meaningfulness you desire.

The area of couple’s therapy is what I genuinely love to practice! I approach therapy in a neutral, non-judgmental fashion where I encourage couples to remove guilt, blame, and shame and strive for solutions. Being forthcoming, learning to communicate effectively, and embracing the strengths each person brings to the relationship is the goal to revive love and respect.
